The North County Raptors

The North County Raptors Girls Fast pitch Organization, is located in Prunedale, California. Our home fields are at Manzanita Youth Sports Complex. We are committed to teaching each player, especially through personal example, to be humble and generous in Victory and proud and courteous in defeat. Realize, accept and practice the principle that a team’s reputation is built not only on its playing ability but also on its sportsmanship, courtesy, and manner. We travel to local tournaments and participate in ASA and USSSA tournaments. This program focuses on Citizenship -Sportsmanship - Friendship & Family values to strengthen the moral character of children, families and the communities in which they live. By Reinforcing self-confidence, self-esteem and the ability to excel on and off the field. With each passing season, through hard work and dedication our teams continue to improve and play stronger, by playing in a more competitive level of fast pitch softball.

NMCYSA organizes and sponsors our travel (Raptors) teams every year. Our age groups are 10u, 12u and 16u.The 10u & 12u register as “C” teams and historically the 16u register as a “B” team. These players are drafted from our recreation league teams. The Raptors travel teams will pay a registration fee for each player, each season to NMCYSA. The price will be determined at the start of each travel season. This is based on a total estimated cost for uniforms and entry fees for the tournaments.

The fee will include two sets of uniforms and visor, (a travel bag & socks are optional). Travel and lodging expenses are not paid by NMCYSA. Each age group will play in a minimum of three tournaments per travel season. We start our season by playing our first tournament in our own Manzanita Mayhem tournament, at Manzanita Youth Sports Complex. This is a ASA,10U, 12U “C” invitational two day event. Pool play on Saturday and champion ship play on Sunday.
